Kalahari Desert
Day 1 to Day 2
On arrival at Windhoek airport, your vehicle will be waiting to take you to your first accommodation. 250 km drive to reach the Kalahari Desert and its orange dunes. This desert of more than 900.000 km2 stretches over Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. It will be the playground for your first bushwalks. Take your first aperitif in the heart of the red dunes and enjoy a magnificent sunset.

Fish River Canyon
Day 3 to Day 4
This morning we leave for the second largest canyon in the world! You will take the road slowly and arrive in the early afternoon in this surreal setting. The Fish River Canyon is the largest on the African continent and the hidden treasure of the continent as it is still not very popular with tourists, despite its "wow" landscapes!

Your room will overlook the huge rocky gorge for an unforgettable experience! You'll have plenty of time to get down to the river where your guide will explain all the wonders of the area.

Aus-Lüderitz
Day 5 to Day 6
Heading north for 300 kms towards Aus and Lüderitz, for a two-day stage. North of the town there are still wild horses, the Feral Horses, estimated to number 200 and which have managed to adapt to the difficult conditions in this part of the world. We also recommend a visit to the amazing village of Kolmanskop. A former mining village, Kolkmanskop is now a ghost town that you can visit during the day.

Namibrand
Day 9 to Day 10
Go to the Namibrand Reserve for an extraordinary experience! You will stay two nights in the reserve for a 19 km trek that is suitable for everyone. You will walk through huge ochre-coloured plains, populated by oryx, zebra and springbok. In the evening, a good hot meal awaits you and your guide will show you the different constellations of the southern hemisphere. This experience is simply magical and SAT recommends it 100%!

Sossusvlei
Day 9 to Day 10
Return to "civilisation" to discover the immense dunes of Sossusvlei. Located in Africa's most important conservation area, Sossusvlei is certainly one of the highlights of this trip. The dunes in this area are among the highest in the world, some reaching over 400 metres in height, an inspiration beyond measure for amateur photographers.


Your top-of-the-range night
And since after two days of trekking in the desert a little comfort is welcome, we suggest you stay in a high standard lodge a few minutes from the entrance of the reserve.

Day 11
On the road! The capital of Namibia will be the end point of your 4×4 adventure through the wonders of the country. This evening to enjoy the vastness of Namibia and its lunar deserts one last time. Enjoy the magnificent view from your lodge over the surrounding valley. We have booked you dinner at the restaurant. Make sure you get there early to enjoy your last sunset on the terrace.
