Louis Watteeuw is a Travel Designer at South African Travellers. Belgian, from Silly in Picardy Wallonia, he discovered Southern Africa during a first internship with the agency in 2020. He fell for it straight away. When the chance to join the team came up a few years later, he did not hesitate: he moved to Cape Town in 2026 to turn that passion into his job.
Louis designs fully tailor-made journeys across Southern Africa, with a particular fondness for South Africa. A country that wins him over with its extraordinary diversity: cultures, wildlife, wide open spaces and outstanding food. For him every itinerary is a blank page, built around what each traveller wants and the way they like to travel.
Louis looks after his travellers in French, English and Spanish, and also has some Italian.
