Regardless of the angle from which it is viewed, Cape Town is a postcard on its own. Day or night, by plane, car or on foot, from Table Mountain or even Lion’s Head, this city is a marvel that we hardly tire of. It’s impossible not to have in mind this image straight out of Google, with in the foreground the sea and the Green Point stadium, in the background the city on either side of Signal Hill and in the background the imposing Table Mountain and its neighbors Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head. This breathtaking shot of the Mother City is not, however, reserved for professional photographers and aviators. It is indeed accessible to the public thanks to an activity which remains nonetheless exceptional: the flight over the city aboard a helicopter. The latter offers a breathtaking panorama between land and sea and allows you to admire Cape Town from a unique point of view.
South African travelers obviously hastened to test this activity. Finally, to tell the truth, it was the trainees who were commissioned to fly, on a Friday the 13th, above the Mother City (and yes, life as a trainee at SAT …). Fifteen minutes out of time which deserves to last indefinitely …
