Xavier Grégoire is co-founder and director of South African Travellers. A Belgian from Wavre, he moved to Cape Town in January 2018, won over by the wide-open spaces and the freedom South Africa offers. In August 2020 he took over the agency with his business partner Filip Wuyts and gave it new momentum, bringing a resolutely responsible and sustainable vision of tourism.
With 8 years of field experience in Southern Africa, Xavier is the specialist of off-the-beaten-track motorbike adventures: Namibia, with its spectacular gravel roads and endless horizons, is his signature destination. He is also responsible for the agency's Travelife certification, guaranteeing a concrete commitment to ethical tourism that respects local communities.
Xavier oversees the organisation of motorbike journeys across Southern Africa — a unique experience combining freedom, immersion and authentic discovery. He speaks French and English fluently.
