South Africa will blow your mind, this country is made for bikers.SAT has always been on the road, which is why we have created several circuits of 12 to 16 days (1600 to 2400 kms) offering the most beautiful stages in the country. The Cape of Good Hope, Hermanus and its whales, animal reserves, the Karoo desert, the garden route and the superb seaside resort of Knysna. This is what we suggest to you on the handlebars of a gleaming Harley Davidson or a comfortable BMW GS Adventure or a more adventurous KTM. This route is very comfortable thanks to a selection of exclusive accommodation, relaxing stops, beautiful country roads and some of the best restaurants in the country. Travel as a couple, with friends or create your group!

Cape Town International Airport
Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be transferred to a comfortable hotel where our team will brief you on the trip. The day will end with a memorable sunset from Signal Hill, certainly one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Western Cape, followed by dinner (included) on one of the most beautiful terraces of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Reception of your motorbikes. After the essential meetings, shopping and advice, you will leave, accompanied by our motorcycle guide and roadcaptain, to discover the Cape of Good Hope with many stops: Hout-Bay, Chapman's Peak, Kommetje, Boulder's Beach and finally Simon's Town where you will spend the night. Dinner will be provided in front of the small fishing port of Simon's Town (included). 100km stage - a relaxing warm up and acclimatisation to the South African roads.
Drive to Hermanus along the False Bay. This incredible road offers extraordinary views of the bay. It leads you to Hermanus which, in addition to being an essential place for whale watching, is a superb seaside resort! You will have dinner in the famous square where the whale caller announces the arrival of the whales (included). Fast 125 km stage.
Depart for a 360km drive east, with a two-night stopover in a game reserve. For those with a sweet tooth, there is a stop in Mossel Bay village for your first South African lobster, and you will be accompanied by a ranger as you search for rhinos, lions, giraffes, buffaloes and zebras that roam freely throughout the 3000 hectare game reserve. Four game drives are planned during this two-night full-board stage
Saddle up and head for the Indian Ocean and one of the country's most popular beach resorts. Through small paths between the mountains and the ocean, you will reach this South African riviera and discover its many assets. On the way, you will pass by George and then descend to the "head", an impressive cliff plunging straight into the Indian Ocean.
Head to the Karoo Desert with an overnight stop at Brian's hunting farm. A winding, hilly road with many viewpoints and possible stops such as Plettenberg Bay, Bloukrans Bridge for the highest bungee jump (216m), Tsitsikamma National Park, Jeffery's Bay the surfers' corner, etc.
Head to the atypical little town of Graaff Reinet via a secondary road that crosses vast, undulating expanses with landscapes reminiscent of gigantic American farm estates. A radical change of scenery, you arrive in the South African outback, these hostile lands settled by valiant vrij-boers progressing with all their assets in a wooden cart pulled by two poor oxen!
Drive to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital, via the R62. The R62, or Garden Route, is a unique opportunity to 'carve' your way through the South African countryside. The route takes you through long straight stretches, charming villages and numerous viewpoints, where you will visit an ostrich farm and the more adventurous will change horses.
You will discover the "Wine Capital of the Western Cape". Franschhoek is renowned for the quality of its vineyards and restaurants. The "French Corner", in homage to the Huguenot families who came to the region in the 18th century, is a small, hilly Provençal village with vineyards as far as the eye can see.
Return to Cape Town in the morning. You will return the bikes and head to the Grand Daddy Hotel on Long Street. It has become a tradition, this last evening is dedicated to the projection of the photos followed by a beautiful and big party worthy of Cape Town and this trip. This will take place on a roof top, on the top floor of a building located in the heart of Cape Town!

Day 1Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be transferred to a comfortable hotel where our team will brief you on the trip. First night in front of the ocean
Overnight at The Bay hotel. Located in Camps Bay, this luxurious beach hotel has 4 outdoor pools and views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. We like: a breathtaking night for the sunset--- 2 ---
Cape of Good Hope
Day 2Reception of your motorbikes. Overnight at The Quayside or similar. The Quayside overlooks Lyme Bay and is within walking distance of Brixham town centre, the marina and beautiful coastal paths. Overnight at Auberge Burgundy or similar. Overnight at the Auberge Burgundy or similar.With a splendid setting between the mountains and the sea, this charming Provençal-style guest house is located in the historic centre of Hermanus, overlooking the picturesque old harbour. Botlierskop
Day 4 and day 5Depart for a 360km drive east, with a two-night stopover in a game reserve. Day 7Head to the Karoo Desert with an overnight stop at Brian's hunting farm. A winding, hilly road with many viewpoints and possible stops such as Plettenberg Bay, Bloukrans Bridge for the highest bungee jump (216m), Tsitsikamma National Park, Jeffery's Bay the surfers' corner, etc.

Your typical South African lodge
You will stay at Brian's place, a farm run by a real, and super friendly, South African. There is no question of hunting, but we will organise an original late afternoon with a clays shooting (included) followed by a real South African braai (included). We like: the real South African atmosphere

Day 9Drive to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital, via the R62. The R62, or Garden Route, is a unique opportunity to 'carve' your way through the South African countryside. Your night in a guest house
You will stay at the Zeekoe, a beautiful farmhouse converted into a unique guesthouse. In the evening, a menu presenting various culinary specialities of the region (including ostrich!), will be proposed to you (included). We like: discover new culinary specialities

Franschhoek

Sleeping in the vineyards

Day 12Return to Cape Town in the morning. You will return the bikes and head to the Grand Daddy Hotel on Long Street. It has become a tradition, this last evening is dedicated to the projection of the photos followed by a beautiful and big party worthy of Cape Town and this trip. This will take place on a roof top, on the top floor of a building located in the heart of Cape Town!

Your night in the heart of Cape Town
You will spend this last night in the hotel. The next day, after lunch, we will head to the airport for the return flight. We like: have a fantastic last night worthy of your trip
